When you purchase something from my website or business page I collect the personal information you give me such as your name, address and email address.

COMMUNICATIONS

I do not sent marketing emails without your consent.  I will reply to emails you send via Facebook, unMonday or www.abigailjmarsh.co.uk, via the contact option.  I will keep your information as outlined to ensure your purchase can be made and posted out to you.  I provide your name and address on postage items to the courier to ensure you receive your order. Items over £100 will always be tracked and require a signature.  The postal service are subscribed to EU and US trading agreements.

SECURITY AND STORAGE 

The data that I collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) to allow for delivery for International addresses. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. I will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
While I strive to protect your personal information, unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although I will do my best to protect your personal data, I cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted; any transmission is at your own risk. Once I have received your information, I will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

My company is hosted on WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, and unMonday platforms.  There is a facility to purchase directly through: Facebook and Instagram.  Payment options through unMonday, iZettel, and Direct Banking are done via secure servers and comply with EU and US trading agreements.  I have no direct contact with any of your financial details such as bank account or credit card information during any part of the payment process. Only your basic personal details are available to me, specifically relating to your order (name, and the billing/delivery addresses which you provide during ordering process).  All payment gateways offered by unMonday, iZettel and NatWest adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by my store and its service providers.  I would confirm that I am not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with legal or tax obligations.

CONTACT

I will retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period.  However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for 7 years to comply with UK Tax laws. After this time I will delete your data from my records.

If you reside in certain territories, in the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases.
