Dahlia Flower

Description

This gorgeous Dahlia flower is handcrafted from sterling silver sheet and wire. Each layer of the flower is hand pierced using a small saw blade and accuracy. They are then textured with a hammer to bring the petals to life. Ever hammer mark is unique so no two flowers are the same. The centre of this flower is made form off cuts of silver that have been heated and balled up into granulations. These tiny granulations are then positioned into the centre of the flower and secured with soldering.

It takes time and patience to produce the flowers with great care for finish being done. Under the flower head the stem starts with a neatly cured piece of silver before the wire of the stem protrudes and grows in thickness.

You could display this flower on its own or in a vase with others or place it on a beutiful bouquet of flowers as a added elegant sparkle for someone’s wedding.

All my pieces are handmade so I do my very best to craft your piece in month and then notify you of postage. Some pieces, if being customised, may take longer and you will be notified of this.
