Damask Cut Out 3D Earrings

Description

The pattern for these Damask Cut Out 3D earrings was inspired by my interest in history and pattern designs seen in historic architecture and furnishings.

The name Damask came from the fabrics that are reversible and can be found in many stately homes. These fabrics had gorgeous details for florals woven into the fabric design.

The earrings themselves are 3dimentional so like the fabric, they can be seen from all sides. This concept of design has not been seen in jewellery before. Each panel is hand cut and then assembled to create a delicate form that’s a bold and dramatic piece of jewellery.

Each panel of the Damask Cut Out 3D earrings have been hand cut from sterling silver sheet using a fine blad called a piercing saw. This is one of my favourite processes and the piercing saw is my favourite tool. The process of piercing allows me to create a beautiful organic dainty shape from a sheet of silver.

A perfect pair of earrings for someone who loves the unusual and bold and is not afraid to stand out. I love these earrings, not only because they are my favourite style of work to create but because they are just so different and a real push of my skills.

Each pair of  Damask Cut Out 3D earrings are custom-made to allow me to craft the unique quality of the earrings that are a made-to-order item.

I will do my very best to craft your piece in two month and then notify you of postage. Some pieces, if being customised, may take longer and you will be notified of this.
